in season 3 “House” embraced the model of telling one story spanning many episodes.
may abandoned “Heroes” mid-season. the 1st year, every episode was a 42 minute vacation. this year, it’s like waiting for the bus.

approaching the half-way mark in “Heroes” season 3, each hackneyed cartoon dialog makes us groan more than the last. disappointment growing.
season 2 of “Lost” maintained the momentum, tone and standards set in its first year, like a pride of chimera’s never breaking stride.
season 2 of “Heroes” lost it’s footing, as though written by a splinter group of manga nerds merely imitating it’s brilliant first year.
